Goal 4:  Educators and administrators will use technology to support a culture of data-driven decision making that relies upon data to evaluate and improve teaching and learning.

                                                                   

 

• Ensure that teachers are familiar with to reporting features found in computer-based testing programs used by the Pointe Coupee Parish School District. 

• Provide professional development on using data from commonly used assessments to drive instruction. 

• Revisit data at PLCs (district and school-level) to ensure that it is being evaluated.  Provide professional development on using data supplied from digital programs, such as Triumph Learning and STAR Reading, to target individual student needs.

• Provide training and support on using Microsoft Excel and Word to track and graph data.

• Provide training and support to teachers on creating custom assessments in order to obtain additional data from computer-based programs, such as Eagle and Triumph.
