Goal 3:  All educators, administrators, and technical support team members will have expanded access to files, materials and digital educational resources through both hosted and on premise data storage and sharing services.

 

Strategies:

  • Install file servers at each school for local file storage and sharing.

  • Enable access to the District’s technology share for all teachers and administrators.

  • Evaluate the use and benefits of current digital content subscriptions used by the district and renew subscriptions that are heavily utilized and beneficial. Additionally, the district planning team will discuss and evaluate new digital content subscription options. 

  • Ensure that staff members receive training that will allow them to maximize their use of the expanded access to digital content.

  • Encourage district-wide collaboration through the use of virtual teaching and learning platforms, such as Moodle.
